I have been collecting CA unemployment - and will be having a child soon. Once I am "unable to work", am i then eligible for state disability and/or paid family leave?
Any info would be greatly appreciated as I cannot get through to anyone in the unemployment/disability offices!

You may qualify to transition to SDI. The claims are handled by the same outfit -- EDD -- so just ask them the next time you need to go to the local office.

You can qualify for either State Plan temporary disability benefits or Disability During Unemployment Program depending upon your condition. If your employer has a separate plan, then you file your claim accordingly.

In what world do you live, Adam? The OP resides in CA, and there are no such programs as you mention.
And you completely ignore the FACT that the OP is unemployed -- so there is no employer plan on which to fall back.
Your advice is both irresponsible and dangerous. In what state are you a licensed insurance producer?
