109 dollars
Actually, the Medicare Part B premium is as little as $104.90. There is no $109 premium in 2013. It can be more than $104.90 for persons who have higher incomes in retirement.
Stacy's link is not informative. The correct link is this:
http://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/11579.pdf
Single persons with incomes in 2011 of $85,000 ($170,000 for married couples) or more pay between $146.90 to $335.70 per month depending on their Adjusted Gross Income in 2011,
2013 Medicare Part B premiums for persons with incomes below $85,000 have been refigured as one premium for all -- instead of the three different tiers in 2012 depending on when a person was first enrolled in Medicare Part B.
