The prospects are looking a little bleak from one end and optimistic from another. It depends on your location, goals, mindset, and idea of what a good job and a bad job is. Some companies are holding strong and others are failing fast. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that recession is hitting us all hard right now. Flexibility is definitely the most crucial skill. Check this out and you'll see what I mean.

This publication is from London but it certainly applies to Americans as well. It applies to people worldwide. We're all trying to pull ourselves out of this dark hole. Hope this helps. God bless you! Take care.

Many employers, especially now in this economy, are looking more at people with experience. Although education is still very important, the job market isn't as easy to navigate. I do think that you will be better received than someone without an MBA, but at the same time many insurance companies are seeking people that they do not have to spend much time training. A lot of it really depends on the type of job you are looking for within the insurance industry!
