My co pays are a little more on newer medications but other than that it is pretty good.

Some states guarantee you coverage...regardless of your health. Maryland (see below) has a great plan.
Plan Overview
When you enroll in the Maryland Health Insurance Plan, you have a choice of one of four Plan benefit options:
HMO Plan
PPO Plan with $500 medical deductible
PPO Plan with $1,000 medical deductible
High Deductible Health Plan with $2,600 combined medical and pharmacy deductible
If you have a limited income, you may be eligible for MHIP+. Whether applying for MHIP for the first time or already enrolled, you must complete a separate MHIP+ Application.
An explanation of each of these benefit options is outlined in the MHIP Application Booklet.
A detailed explanation of the plan's coverage is contained in the Certificate of Coverage.
