Do you have any children? I would personally recommend Final Expense Insurance. Final Expense will cover your entire funeral from flowers to the repast. You will have to include money for the plot and for the opening and closing of the grave. If you need any help, I will be more that glad to give your and your write some quotes. I am licensed in Maryland, Missisisppi, and Virginia.

How the child would benefit from the final expense plan? You mean to say that one may take out a final expense plan on a child? I have always thought that final expense plans are for the olds and terminally ills since unlike a normal life insurance plan it doesn't need medical underwriting.

Well, bandit-baby when you are right that olds and no-so-health people can qualify for the final expense insurance its however, not restricted to them only. Anyone can purchase the FE plan.

Scott, you are right that one shouldn't neglect the expense of funeral and must prepare before hand to meet the expenses.

You mean to say that one may take out a final expense plan on a child?

I guess that's not what Scott has intended to mean, rather the earning member of the family should take-out the policy of his/her name to save the family from incurring funeral debts after his/her death.

If you have children and they are young, you will likely need more than just FE coverage. A complete needs analysis to determine the correct amount should be done. The surviving spouse's needs also need to be taken into account.
If the children are older and out on their own, a fe policy may be all you need if you just want to cover the funeral costs.

Many final expense policies have high premiums and low coverages, but may be the best for the client if they are older or have extensive medical history. If a client is younger or in better health, a good life policy can beat final expense prices any day of the week!

I thought FE Insurance INCLUDED funds for this. REALLY...I thought if you made monthly payments for this type of Insurance, this is what you would be paying for. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
