I drove by an auto insurance place and it had a window sticker that said $29 for auto insurance. Yet, when I went in, they quoted me a price of $125. Is that legal?

Many states have strict laws and rules in force to prohibit insurance companies from displaying false or misleading advertisements. I would recommend you contact your state’s insurance department.

Did you take a close look of this sticker. The other day, I was also driving by one that depicted a small "*" at the top. It was just that there were some other conditions applicable on it. Even when you have a car model that doesn't fit in their list, you may achieve a different rate for your coverage.
