Bad Chiropractors

I feel like there should be a thread for chiropractors that have very bad practices, i.e. over treatment, fraud, inordinary treatment, known to be buddy buddy with lawyers, etc. Would this be wrong?

I don't know, adm should respond...don't know that we could name names you know? I do agree and have had the unpleasant pleasure myself though!

It might be easier to make a list of ones that don't do as you mentioned.

Don't get me wrong... it all really starts with the patient. A doctor cannot "over-treat" unless the patient seeks the treatment to start with and _wants_ to continue treating.

I disagree tcope, DC's have a lot of power when it comes to the claims, the patient is vulnerable and usually uninformed and will do what the DC recommends, especially if they say the x-ray shows.......

I have seen upward of 80 treatments for a soft tissue neck/back that should be resolved in 4-8 weeks, and I have heard of 100+ cases in some rare instances

I agree with that, especially in KY where PIP pays up to 10k and it seems like they get most of that amt. They make more than doctors here.
