Hi guys!
I don't see any harm in buying insurance programs from a credit card co. if they have already proven their worth within their own operative field.
Hope you would gain lots if the program is worth supporting your life & family!
But yes, you need to go through your policy papers very carefully :)
Regards,
Sasha

Well..as you might just be knowing the way the credit card companies work & the way they charge. So please beware of the payment mode & the time of payment. Yes, there are some of the biggies (eg. Discover, Providian etc.) who'd benefit your life with good products for your life & home. But still, I'd request you to do a wee bit of research before you sign in on papers. Got it! Hi Anthony&bargomy,
I've not come across such an id ever before...guess you are two soul strewn into one! :)
Anyways..you guys gotta stay away from scams...there are pretty many scammers calling you home & pinging online. Also, as someone has said before- you need to scrutinize the paperworks associated with your policy & make sure how they work. You need go through all the clauses & ask questions whenever you get struck. Most of the cases these programs are not policies but act like floaters upon a basic policy offered by a known carrier. All the best! StecnBaker

Be careful that it's not an accidental death only policy. Those, in my opinion are worthless. Make sure you fully understand the terms and conditions of the policy and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Good luck

What type of insurance are you talking about Antony&Bargomy? Many people take out the unemployment insurance and it comes in quite handy in a layoff situation, it either defers the payment or the insurance makes the payment for you while you are on unemployment.
I am with you InsInvestigator on the accident insurance, you should have other insurance in place that will cover this if it happens.

Unemployment insurance has no effect on the self employed. I guess they think you can write yourself up as unemployed...lol
