Sdchargersfan, anyone can read your post and see all the need to know about you. You are telling people that the hippa law allows clients with aid/hiv to buy life insurance and the company can not turn them down.
You call me a bully? Wow, all I did along with some other members on the forum was to ask you to show this law you keep talking about. TO prove what you saying is true. We proved what we said was true and now we want you to show us the law you keep talking about.
http://www.ampminsure.org/insuranceagents/sign-form-3.html <--- you can read this post to see why Sdchargersfan is mad. You can also see what others and myself are confronting her on her facts. LOL
I can't help it if I make you look stupid by what you say is facts. But at least I'm not the only one that says this on that post.

You're not making me look stupid. You're just making YOURSELF ( and OTHER Insurance Agents) look bad.

And, as I said before, EVERYONE on this forum, has their opionion on how things are handled. You know very LITTLE about the situation......you only know what I've told you. As long as the County ( in which this 'issue' is in) is 'backing up' the protection, of this 'Client', then I will continue to do what I do.

IMO are a dime a dozen. Just ask other agents who they are using. See if the IMO offers training and can show you some good ideas. I like IMO that have a go to meeting acct and can train you weekly online. I like imo that can do more then just get you hooked on leads.

What type of business are you going to be concentrating in? Some GAs concentrate on term, online sales, leads, business insurance, advanced sales, etc. Make sure you ask a lot of questions and don't get roped into an exclusive contract. If you are going to be independent then make sure the GA you pic has access to many many carriers and products and can handle the business you want to do.
