Is there a statute of limitation in State of Utah for appealing a payout
received from a life insurance company? I believe I should have
received a lot more but never did anything and has been bothering
me for some time over 10yrs?

You've let about 10 years too much time go by. Go on to other things.

Wait a minute. What makes you think you should have received more than you did? If you have a reasonable claim on this, you may be entitled to the amount that you should have been paid plus interest for the past 10 years.

However, unless you can prove that you were not paid the full death benefit amount, this isn't a fight worth pursuing. And if this is gripe over something like accidental death and dismemberment, best to let it go. Unless you have accident written on the death certificate and proof that shows death occurred upon said accident or within about 24 hours of the incident.
