Is individual health coverage better than a family floater?

A local agent was pointing at a health insurance floater option for the entire family. We have individual health coverage for each member in the family. I'd look forward to your comments!

I guess a floater is cheaper than an individual policy and it serves the best for families that are younger and don't bear too much of health risk. Your spouse and kids could be covered under the same plan along with you.

A good thing about a floater is that if there's only a single claim annually, you'd be entitled to receive more out of your settlement than what you'd get out of your individual coverage. Isn't it great!

Floaters cost less than individual health plan and covers your immediate family members in the same policy. It is also a better option if you have more younger members in your family having low health risks. Your family members can get greater settlement amount if make a single claim in a year than the settlement amount you would have got on an individual cover.
