I can guess what your question is...Is there anything you can do about it or is there a reason why they dropped you??
The answer is yes...to both questions. You have become too significant of a risk (unless of course your claim was fraudulent or excessive...then that may be the specific reason). Your only recourse (after an appeal which never seems to be successful) is to find another company to insure you!

Thank you . my claim was what the insurance adjuster told them . The insurance company did pay a part of my claim . My insurance co paid 8,000 and my adjuster said i had 42,000 indamages. I was with them over 15 years . No late payments and they gave no reason why? Texas Insurance said it was illegal to not renuew my policy.

They cannot non-renew a policy for any reason? I doubt that. If they did not give you a reason then you don't know why they did not renew the policy.
I found no information on the TX DOI website that would not allow a carrier to non-renew a policy for any reason nor have I ever heard of any state not allowing a non-renewal.
However I did find the following:
22. USE OF CLAIMS HISTORY TO NONRENEW . Your insurance company cannot use claims you filed as a basis to non-renew your policy unless:
· you file three or more claims in any 3-year period; and
· your insurer notified you in writing after the second claim that filing a third claim could result in non-renewal of your policy.
Have you asked your carrier why they did not renew your policy?

Sorry Geasr, but I not sure that I've understood your following statement quite clearly.
My insurance co paid 8,000 and my adjuster said i had 42,000 indamages.
You had $42, 000 worth of claim but the insurance company paid only $8000 towards it, why is it so?

Geasr, I'm not convinced that the estimate can differ so widely between two adjusters.
What exactly had happened?
What is the nature of damage you have suffered?
Wasn't the contractor present at the scene when the insurance adjuster was inspecting the loss?

The Insurance adjuster was not to good . he failed to get all the information . after about 4 weeks i called the insurance co and ask about the status of my claim they told me there adjuster 's computer went down and he lost all the information . I watched this adjuster he did not write much down and all he had was a manilia folder folded up in his pocket to write on .He did not report the structial damages to my roof ,trees on my roof . fence down. and a 12 x 24 ft room attached to my house that was destroyed from ike.

Hurricane….. explains so much without even knowing the specifics.
Wind v. water….No.
3-5% hurricane deductible… (OP stated that the insurance company paid only 8K not considered only 8K, big difference with those hurricane deductibles)
Adjuster was there with the trees still on the roof…. Write to remove trees and add an emergency repair minimum charge for unseen damage and wait for clean up to take care of roof supplement once trees are removed. Repair v. Replacement?
Fence…at ACV, so there is another difference.
The only thing that can’t be figured is the 12 x 24 room that apparently was destroyed.
