My parents are not in the best of health and my family and I live in the same house my parents names are on the mortgage of the house but my husband and I pay the mortgage. My question is this How do I or they or we get insurance that will pay off the mortgage if either of them dies?

What you are talking about is 'credit life insurance'. I've personally, only seen this offered when the note is taken out.
Contact the lender and see if it can be added. Typcially it's added to your mortgage payment, 'x' amount per month.

you may want final expense isurance.....which is a term.....policy.......premiums....depends a lot on their health.......and age.....what state do you live in..also......you and your husband should look at getting some sort of life insurance of your own.....
