You'll often come across life insurance companies that won't need you to go for medical tests. Some others would simply ask you a couple of questions. I guess companies who need you to go through these tests or ask questions would be easier to crack when it comes to settlements.

b61mack, pretty good advice. :) Please, however, try and minimize the ellipses (the "....." thingies) in your posts. It distracted the daylights outta me and I was trying to understand what you were saying! :)
To the OP: Each state's test is different in any number of different ways. They commonly cover much of the same ground, especially in life and health, but each state has it's own little weird attributes.
You didn't mention what state you're in. Let us know which one and I can tell you specifically what you're up against. As well, who provided your prelicense education and what method of instruction did you use? That will also tell me if your chances are good, bad or indifferent.

If you're testing in California, the combined Life & Accident license exam is 150 questions, you have 3 hours to complete the exam, and it is scored within a matter of a minute or two after you click the button to score your exam. 70% or better = pass! (meaning you can miss up to 45 and not fail). % scores are only given if your total score is 69% or lower.
25% of the questions are General Insurance topics/concepts
32.5% are life insurance concepts
32.5% are accident & health insurance concepts
10% are senior health and LTCI concepts
(There are "code & ethics" questions contained in each of the four main categories.)
