They have many listings for schools and training as well as numerous adjusters that can give you the insight that may help you. You have to get past some of the "old timers" that will get on you for asking simple questions or questioning your motives for wanting to become a cat adjuster. Sort of a territorial bunch, but helpful.

One thing..... don't ask how much money you can make. They don't like, won't answer and will most likely mock you for asking. A lot of the good ones on the site consider themselves professionals (as they should) and will tell you if you are getting into it for the money then you are doing it for the wrong reason.

I really need some advice from you professionals. I was just offered a job as a CAT claim rep, never done this before a day in my life. This job comes along with almost a 6 figure salary, I had no clue!!! Most would say, take it...but I'm extremely nervous. I've never had to travel for a job, climb a roof, or even under a house with rats, insects, and God knows what else is under there. Can I get some advice from you professionals who have been doing this for a while? I really wanna take the job, but scared out of my mind. Thanks.

Are you telling us that some company has hired you without any experience at all as a cat adjuster? Have you ever written estimates on home? I'm assuming this is with an independent adjusting company and not an insurance company is that right? If so did they give you a guarantee? in writing? This just doesn't sound right..
