Is there a preferred high end brokerage to work for?
It isn't that I have anything against firms that primarily serve a lower incoming producing clientèle, however I prefer the high end.
Preference might be considered for reputation, support, training, etc.
This comparison in real estate might be Sotheby's vs Keller Williams
Any help is a big help!
Many thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I understand your question..
By target, do you mean what do I want to take home or what volume am I shooting for
Obvisioulsy, I would like to do more than less, but I have not specifically identified a monetary goal at this point.
I need to choose a brokerage first :)

adell50,
I take it that you are a new agent or have just recently gotten your license.
What I meant by target was "Target Premium". Most High end brokers require a min amount of production and often don't give basic training (they assume you already know what your doing). They will often offer advance training on different subjects and sales ideas.
That being said it does not always mean that these brokers give better service then others.
Because most broker do about the same thing i recommend that you find one that is willing to take on a new agent and fits well with your personality. It often depends on the relationship manager you get (RM)....if you don't click with the one you are working with ask for another....it is often a very personal relationship as they will help you drive your business.
Good luck and let us know if you need help....

For annuities look at www.dressander.com
For life insurance look at www.carylevinson.com
Both very good to work with.

I have never heard of Cary levinson and Associates, but I don't think they have access to enough Carriers to be competitive. At least they are not listed on there website.
I do not know any top agents that work with them so I can not comment.

Cary has all the top carriers and is very easy to work with do what you want it was only a suggestion. Go to Bysis which is Crump now and become a number.

dhop1070,
I did not knock your suggestion. You have obviously had a good experience with Cary Levinson and it is always good to know how has had success with what BGA.
My comment was only that Cary Levinson did not list most of the major carriers on their website which led me to believe they don't work with them. Because I have never heard of them or worked with them I can not make any comment beyond what I saw on their website.
