See...Alico is a carrier that operates in 54 nations and has a customer strength of 19 million. There are around 40,000 agents and channel partners involved in the Alico operations. So I don't have any doubt that they'd be able to cover you under various circumstances. Steven

Looks like they mostly work with second and third-rate companies. Here's a post about them with not too many good things to say from another insurance forum: (link deactivated per TOS. -Moderator)
Providing the following info will help determine if you are getting a reasonable quote or not:
-Age
-Male/female
-Smoker/non-smoker status
-Your location (I am assuming Florida?)
-Death benefit/amount of insurance requested
-Number of years guaranteed
-Any prescriptions, medical conditions you are being treated for, and any family history of cancer or heart disease before age 60
If you can provide that, I can tell you what your best options are. I can almost guarantee that you won't get the level of service out of that company as you would from a true independent agent. We are licensed in Florida and work with about 50 different major insurance companies if you want some help.
