Public insurance adjusters are insurance pros who serve YOU rather than your insurance company. In many cases, a public adjuster may have formerly worked in the insurance industry as an adjuster for an insurance company before switching alliances and deciding to serve the general public and individual policyholders.

When you deal with your claims, be it for personal or business loss, water damage, fire, flood etc, you surely need the assistance and support of an insurance professional who knows each and every detail about the particular field. These professionals are called by different names such as Loss Assessors, Insurance specialists, claims consultants or insurance assessors.
They handle claims of different sizes. They help to ensure the best possible outcome for the people they work for. Public adjusters are also called as loss assessors.

More self promotion....that's a huge surprise. Especially since the post is a mini advertisemen t for someone who gets paid a commission to settle your claim for you. Statistics I looked at several years ago showed the client netting less $$ after using public adjusting companies than those who relied on their agent and the company adjuster.
Not saying there aren't some bad deals going both ways. Most of us have agents we trust and would be comfortable knowing that our agent would go to bat for us. Those who have trust issues are welcome to use services like the ones mentioned.
