Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs mentions that human behavior is motivated by 5 needs namely physiological, safety, social, esteem and actualization.

How do insurance needs correspondend with the 5 needs?

Out of the 5 mentioned needs, the points that should dictate how insurance needs are affected by the Hierarchy of Needs should primarily be psychological and safety. In the US, the law demands that every driver should necessarily carry insurance. That should somewhat contribute towards the social and esteem needs. I mention esteem simply because if you are caught without insurance you will face a fine and maybe a jail sentence depending on the magnitude of the offense for which you have been cited. It will have a detrimental effect on the person's self esteem.
