I had my contracts through American Affinity Group, Arlinton Tx. When I quit writing as much health insurance they quit paying residuals. I called over and over again and finally got a response from the owner, Tom Peirson. His response was, "you must have done something against GOD or we would continue to pay you" I have never in my life heard anything like that. The problem is, I assigned my commission to the agency to get a larger percentage on my contract and they advanced 9 months. I had one cancelation out of the many policies written. Originally they said the back end would have to catch up to the advance, but after the back end MORE than caught up, they still refused to pay and this is when the comment, "Must have done something against God or this wouldn't be happening" was made. Any advice on exposing this agency, btw they aren't a registrered business but they have a website and an agency.

That's a problem alright. You didn't just assign the commission to them, you gave them your book of business. If you are no longer there, they probably don't have to pay you.

What does that mean? Are they a licensed insurance agency/broker? That's all that's necessary.
Even in Texas, where the law and common sense usually walk on opposite sides of the street, and in opposite directions from one another.
