Does anyone know anything about Glen Smith Consulting? I've been offered a job by this company to send and receive Western Union and Money Gram transfers for local and foreign clients.
I feel like it's some sort of scam. They claim to be a part of The Producers' Alliance but there is no mention of Glenn Smith on their website. Any help would be warmly received.

(My 'personal' input here..) If you have a bad 'gut' feeling about any kind of insurance matter (agents, or otherwise) your gut is probably trying to tell you something. I'm not saying ALL insurance agents/companies are scams,..I'm just saying follow what your instinct is telling you. Hope this bit of advice helps.

Is there a way you can research his name/company on he Internet? That may be your best bet. Look at his 'ratings' (if any), etc.

They say they're an independent agency. Again their home-page says that they're a member of 'The Producers Alliance'. If your job is to handle money transfers, then I don't see you getting involved in anything out of the blue. Whats the harm in giving it a try in this slackened job market!
