Interested in the possibilities

Hi Everyone,

I am a full time employee of the city of New York. Not in the insurance field. My job is pretty much dead end, though the benefits and flexibility are very good.

I've always wanted to start something different and being an insurance agent is one of my interests.

I have pretty bad credit. My question is, "How will bankruptcy affect your chances of being accepted to sell policies for the insurance companies"?

I have a bachelor's degree in Human Services. I really want to break away from working as a drone for the city.

I welcome any related responses>

Thank you

First, welcome to AmPmInsure forums. It's great to know that you are wanting to get involved in the insurance sector. Recently, Max and I had a similar discussion. I hope it would be of some help to you. Let's see what other experts have to say on this.
