What if a renowned insurance company cheats on you?

Few days back an agent of a renowned insurance company came at my place and requested to do a policy with him. He came up with many interesting benefits to convince me. However, I agreed on to go for a single premium policy. But when I saw the policy document, I found that there were at least two places where my signature was forged and there was provision of many annual premiums that I had to bear. When I contacted the agent again, he told me that there was no problem. Now just yesterday I got a call from the company and they notified me that only half of the fund is left in my account that I deposited. What should I do now?

This is simply an act of forgery. First file a complaint with your local police and report the issue with them. This is just a criminal offense.

Secondly, call the respective insurance company and tell them the entire incident. Also, tell them that you already reported the incident.

Now, if you have all the necessary details (including report and police complaint), they’ll straight cancel the policy and give you a refund.

That is just wrong! I would do exactly what MangoQurious says to do! It's agents like this that give the rest of us a bad name.

First thing we msut do before signing an insurance form we should make a photocopy of the form for future controversies. And if you have been cheated then you should go to the consumer forums or complaint forum at media channels who take this as priority and contact the company direct and solve the issue in front of the world
