Hello Everyone:
I am happy that I found this forum.
I recently interviewed and was offered a insurance agent position with United States Insurance Benefit Group (USABG) could anyone offer me any feedback on this company? I know it’s a virtual position and I will be working remotely.
Thanks,
Liz :D

Hello Liz...I just saw this post and certainly would like to respond. Here is a little background on the hiring process and my experience since being hired.

I am a Senior Level Broker with the USAG and have been here several years.
I went through a challenging interview to get the position which I found in the sales job postings on Craiglists.
I paid the start up fees and the company provided a personal website, software and training.

The training was VERY DETAILED and complete. It was really evident to me from the very beginning that management, training staff and sales team are all committed to excellence. We are customer focused and strive to place each client in the coverage that is best for them.

It’s been a great experience working for USABG and I have made a great salary too. Liz, what is wonderful about my job is that I do the majority of my work from my home office each day and I earn business from clients who are all over the country.
I am licensed in 5 states at this juncture and I am using that to my advantage.
The virtual system is great of course since I have the ability to see many more clients on a daily basis and I have taken full advantage of the opportunity to do so too!! While I worked at a traditional captive setting for an insurance firm I struggled to see even 3 new clients a day. It was truly a grind. What contrast to my daily situation now where I easily interact with 35 or more daily. What’s great is that my closing ratio is high as well.

If I were going to sum everything up i would say that USABG is a excellent organization that will continue to grow. I am grateful the opportunity and will be here for years to come.
