Are there any agents here for medpoint advantage ? If so, have you been paid for the applications you've written ?

I have written several apps since August, 2007, and have NOT been paid for a one of them....:(

MedPoint has also paid every single enrollment commissions to my Agency. I have and will continue to do business with ethical companies like MedPoint. It would seem to me the people doing the name calling are the bunch of THIEVES LIARS!!!!!
MedPoint is great company!!!!!

My name is Scott Stephens, and I am the National Marketing Director for Medpoint, LLC. I do know some agents who were signed up under another agent were sometimes not paid in the past. This was an issue for some, because the original agent was paid, and they never paid the agent/agents signed up under them. All of this type of problem has been taken care of. If you have any questions regarding this issue, please e-mail me at marketing@medpointadvantage.com and let me know.

I have been working for MedPoint Advantage now for one year. Like anything, it takes a little while (60 DAYS) to get a pipeline of new business built up where it will start paying off for the time invested. I have read all of the whining on these post about not getting paid

and it is a bunch of crap! The Reps making these claims that I have spoken to have only sent in one or two Member Enrollments. If you only send in one or two enrollments and expect to become financially independent, you are a idiot!!! This company has paid me on every approved enrollment. They are the best and most honest people I have had the pleasure to work for. Not to mention the work they have done to help my clients with their diabetes. This company is the only company in the country that has a diabetes management system that works to truly help control a persons diabetes. It's not the whiners that matter!!! MEDPOINT ADVANTAGE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Medpoint Advantage hasn't paid me a penny. In fact they charged $250 for their product for the sales people to demo and were supposed to reimburse as sales came in. No way. That's how they make $. I've nener heard of one even working. Medicare needs to investigate these thieves.

MedPoint Advantage is a company that has honestly helped helped every one of my clients I enrolled into thier diabetes management system. I don't understand anyone saying anything negative about this company. People are so pitifull wanting to criticize a service that assist people with a chronic illiness. MedPoint Advantage is a great company that cares!

I authorize the release of any medical or other information necessary for MedPoint to process and submit my claims. I authorize payments for medical supplies furnished to me by MedPoint be paid directly to them.

I agree that if any insurance company sends me the payments, I will send all of the payments received directly to MedPoint as soon as I receive them. I understand my insurance payments for the supplies belong to MedPoint. I understand that using the insurance payments for anything other than paying for my supplies is against the law.

I authorize MedPoint to contact me at periodic intervals to determine my need for supplies which may be rented or purchased by me.

I don't see that this organization is providing any special benefit to anyone with diabetes. When a person "enrolls" in their plan, they are agreeing to purchase all of their diabetes supplies through this vendor.

They state that they are not contracted with the US Govt or CMS, which probably means they are submitting claims for the maximum 115% of Medicare's "approved amounts" and collecting the 109.25% they can lawfully be paid as payment in full (minus the Medicare beneficiary's 20% of Part B expenses).

If anyone is being ripped off, it is the US taxpayers as a whole who are ultimately footing the bill for this nonsense.

If that's the way a person wants to make a living in the insurance business, good luck to you. There are far more noble, worthwhile, and profitable ways than this.

THIS COMPANY PAYS YOU WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE PAYING YOU. I KNOW OF 3 CALL CENTERS THAT HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS DEALING WITH THEM. CALL CENTERS BEWARE. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PAY YOU WHAT THEY OWE YOU.

Complete thieves. Look up their owner Phil Minga if you have any doubts. You will never get paid. Don't even bother.

I concur. The man is a repeat offender. He has had prior convictions for selling unregistered promissory notes and for creating a scheme to defraud people.
