Hi sam,
I guess both are quite process oriented degrees..& getting an MBA overboard would certainly be an icing on the cake!
Wish you all the luck in the world.

Well, I think this MBA in insurance mngmt is all the same as an MBA in Finance. I feel this is the most valuable stream for pursuing an MBA. Considering an MBA in marketing or in HR, I see that now-a-days both would push you towards sales oriented jobs.
Since such jobs could also be pursued by professionals who are merely graduates aiming higher through IJP systems (Internal job posting) which are purely based on static experiences rather than dynamic project expertise.
If you possess such a high end degree, then I'm sure that even if you would start as an insurance broker & then it would just be a short span of time before you'd move up the ladder. So, I'd firmly believe that theres no doubt that you're gonna gain both ways!
