I would like to introduce myself and also start a discussion about life settlements. I work for a company in Orlando, FL which is Trinity Financial Services. WE are a full service life settlement firm and are THE experts in this area. We have a complete staff dedicated to nothing but life settlements. I know that there are alot of companies out there that claim to be so called experts in this field. This is probably due to the fact that there is very little barriers to entry. Basically, all anyone really needs to do is obtain a life insurnace license in most states to be a life settlement broker. I think is the case for SEVERAL companies trying to do this business. This has become a big problem for those of us who actually know what we are doing. If anyone out there would like to discuss life settlements with a professional who can get the cases closed for you. Also, I am open to explaining the business to anyone who wants to learn more about life settlements. Thanks and good luck.

Yeah, life settlement can be a good option for people facing problem in managing their life policies; also they can gain out of the transactions. But many don't know about this avenue until a financial expert enlighten them about this possibility. Though I don't know much about the expertise required for operating in this specialized field I believe that too much competition can actually affect the quality of the service offered.

Thanks...I can tell you that I am here as an outlet for your senior clients. If you currently work with seniors who may have any type of life insurance that is no longer needed (for whatever reason) we can help them get it out to the secondary market to determine if there is indeed value for their policy. We can work with policies with face values from 50K up to any amount of coverage. I can be contacted through my web site if you would like to discuss any cases. Just google Trinity Financial Services LLC. Thanks and good luck

Basically a life settlement is a transaction between an insured and a financial firm that buys existing life insurance from high net worth senior clients. These are clients who are typically 65 to 70 yrs old and older. They are normally very wealthy. They usually no longer have a need for the life insurance whether it be all or some of the coverage they currently carry. The reasons vary as to why someone no longer needs their policy but none the less they are getting rid of it. They have a couple of options. They can lapse the policy, they can surrender the policy to the carrier for an amount less the surrender value, or they can shop the secondary market for a buyer. I work with the financial pro's who have a senior book of business. I get my HIPPA authorization signed which allows me to obtain the medical records for the last 5 years as well as any insurance info such as in force illustrations. I send those items out together to my buyers, they in turn determine a life expectancy (LE) on the client and then make an offer based on that LE. They do use several other factors but thats the general idea. The client then can accept the offer or reject it. Typically the offers usually beat the CSV by 2 to 3 times. Thats it in a nutshell. Let me know if anyone would liek to discuss this topic further.

Trinity...interesting business you are in. But in fairness...(see link) your company is quite young, although you may not have realized that.

However, your disclosure (see below) is very comprehensive.

To try to enlighten you. That is only and simply the State of Texas life settlement brokers license that that particular state requires a broker to obtain in order to do business in Texas. That took place last year. If you are able to read our web site then the actual facts about when we became Trinity would be clear. Trinity had merged with another group about 7 years ago. Thanks and good luck.

I have done some research on life settlements and usually ask all of my clients if this would be something they might be interested in. the problem most "older" people dont seem to have a lot of coverage on themselves. It seems like finding a needle in a hay stack. but I am still looking for the needle. there is a ton of money to be made in this area. but you have to sell other products to pay your bills. But why would I pick Trinity over say life settlements llc or oxford or any other company? what makes you guys the people to go to?
what are the commission rates on a life settlement with you? we are looking for a firm that will give us the highest contract available so that we can set up a hierarchy within our organization. we have about 10 "active" agents and are growing fairly quickly.
thanks. if you can offer great contracts and multiple investors so the client gets the best return. I would be very interested in speaking with you to set something up.
thanks thomas
