I've heard about something called Affiliate marketing. I guess you've come up with something different this time.
I think many of the cell phone network providers or private banks are working upon shared databases. They have also generated good business under the current downturn.

I would like to make some contacts with captive agents working with a major insurer in the US. I am a market researcher working offshore for a major US insurer. Having contacts with our competitors (particulary those working in marketing) would make my job a whole lot easier.

Do you think that people who're working in the marketing divisions with your competitors would help share their customers with you? Why would they do it? How do you plan to make it effective? PackardBell

Not looking to share customers, I am not an agent. But could use a contact to share things like sales figures - Things that are not so classified but are too detailed to be included in the publicly released financials.
