If you don't mind me asking how do you find the lead generating blog for state specifics?

Well people, I don't see any good reason why you would be visiting an insurance blog to achieve seo-techniques. You have so many wonderful blogs that teach you more on the tactics (differentiating the white-hats from the shady ones). I'd rather be glad to know that you had achieved some quality ways that dynamically present a core finance topic like 'insurance'. I'm too sure that Insurance Maze would be glad to have it that way!

I'd not quite agree with you over here Juanita!

That's you can't, simply because I've not replied to this thread yet :)

However, though its quite true that the population is growing as compared to the number of people joining the DNC list, but you also have to consider the figure of the population actually joining the particular market as buyer.

Another fact that may play a role is the behavior of the market. Presently, the market is going through recession and the purchasing power of the population has decreased significantly. This too has made the market even more competitive.

Roddick, even if I agree with you on the ground that the size of the market is growing with each passing day as new buyers are joining the buyer's brigade, selling insurance policies were never been an easy job for the insurance agents. They always have to search for new devices to generate more businesses. I think, the other agents too will agree with me on this ground.

Regards,
Juanita

I have been able to achieve some success marketing my websites.

There is a lot involved in getting in turning a website into a profit center. You have to have a website that has good copy. The copy must make your visitor want to give you their information. The website must be easy to navigate and easy to use in general. The website must have visitors. This means that you have to learn how to optimize your website for the search engines and/or use pay per click.

There are tons of books about these subjects. One I like on web usability is "Don't Make Me Think." There are tons of books on SEO and PPC. Many are good.

Knowing how to use CSS and validating your HTML or XHTML code can get you more traffic. You can validate your code at:

If you type "html validator" into Google you will find code validators that can help you create web pages that search engines can read more easily and that will load more quickly.

It takes a lot of study and work to get a website well ranked. Having a blog helps. Search engines like fresh content and blogs are the easiest way to add fresh content on a regular basis.
