Hi yeah,
Thats precisely been a description of what it is all about by beatuplunchbox.
Many a times we do overlook the important question of whether we have the much necessary knowledge about the subject!
Some times it becomes quite important to go through business classes & also work to get some sales experience. Being an agent all you have to do is to fulfill the targets. At least thats whats gonna please your employer..am I right? Barbwire91

Yupp, you'd need the support of a co. Once its achieved that it would easier for you to convey your wish to the insurance commission (through a written application) to grant you a permit. Once it is approved, they would not waste time towards issuing your license.
But my friend, remember it is important to ( & a bit of luck) get associated with a good co. I'm sure you're gonna try out your best. This could really be a good opportunity for you to associate yourself with a whole world of professionals, who would guide you & nourish you to your full bloom. But make sure, you shower them with your queries & enhance your knowledge regarding the different processes as much as you can.
Lastly, don't forget to share your experiences with the other community friends over here:)
