What do you do to reduce "no show" by your prospects?

hi, i'm from india & I'm looking for home based business mainly online business. currently I'm working as online marketer. Can I work as insurance agent from home?

Xoseph, the one thing that helped me the most with no shows before i started doing biz primarily online was asking for detailed directions.
This made the prospect visualize the trip and effort it would take for me to get to see them. Worked like a charm.

No shows are a fact of life in the insurance business.
Agents have to recognize that while the client is on the top of the agent's priority list,.... the agent is on the bottom of the client's priority list,.... if he's even on the list.
Setting appointments on Friday for the following Monday is almost always going to result in a no show.
There isn't any way to eliminate no shows. Appointments set more than two days out should be confirmed.
Some agencies teach that once you set an appointment, don't call back to confirm, just show up. Personally, for me, if a client doesn't want to see me, I don't want to see them and I'll use that time to contact other people who need the financial services and products I offer.
We rarely see a client in their home.
Clients come to our office.
