Hello,
I am new to this forum and a new P&C Agent. Does anyone have any sales ideas that were successful in selling P&C?

Do you have your own web page? Not a company web page, one that is your and about you? If so there are a lot of online marketing tactics we can talk about.
If not, have you tried getting involved with a local chamber of commerce, that is a great way to get started!

Look into things like DRIP marketing. Insurance sales is a process, you don't always make a sale on your first meeting with a prospect, so you need to come up with creative ways to stay visible to your prospects!

The idea behind DRIP Marketing is The Law of 29. The age old marketing strategy claims that on average it would take a client 29 times to of seeing your company's name or your name for it to make a dent and they would look into becoming a client.
Obviously depending on the type of marketing you do I don't think the law of 29 is always right. But the idea is still the same you need to find creative ways to brand yourself and to always stay in front of clients. Email newsletters are a good idea, holiday mailings, ads in industry specific magazines that your customers might read.
If you are really interested in learning about marketing yourself, I started a marketing newsletter on my web page. Feel free to go to it and go to the Newsletter section and sign up, it is free. Also I could recomend you some great books if you are interested.
