I went to a job fair and met a representative from Combined insurance. They /he said that they sell supplemental insurance. can you shed some light on this subject. thanks
Their "office" looked like a conference room and they pushed 5 sales per day.

Supplemental insurance benefits are designed to pay in addition to other mainline insurance products such as health and disability income insurances.
Combined has, for many decades, sold "Accident Only, Hospital Only" products that pay a daily cash benefit if a person is in the hospital as the result of an accident. A very limited benefit. (It's not the only product they sell.)
There are several other larger companies, such as AFLAC, that provide a broader array of supplemental insurance products. Investigate them all before you make a decision about becoming an agent for one.

If you were looking to get into that industry, the only company to look at would be Aflac.
They are by far the best in the industry, and offer the most to their clients. I have worked for Aflac for almost three years and wish I started with Aflac sooner.
You need to be motivated to make it work for you. But if you work hard, the rewards are more than worth it!
Best of duck! (I mean luck!)
