That depends...what state do you live in and what type of insurance license are you trying to get?

Hi TITA,
You may need to go through a pre-licensing course and also go for the licensing exam. But since that has a lot to do with the state norms, would you care to tell us which state or land you're from?

Okay, here they are...
* Though the requirements vary from state to state but most of the states would require to sign-up for the pre-licensing course for the licensing purpose.
* Contact the state licensing department and fill-in the application. It would also tell you about the licensing requirements.
* Prepare yourself for the licensing test and take-up the exam when ready.
* Most of the states would also required you to continue education for the purpose of renewing license.
This much only we can suggest without more information from your side. Please response to the queries asked by Teacher only then we would be able to help further.
