I know the number one thing in this business is knowing your stuff inside and out, what are some good ways besides training to learn about Insurance? I mean the study books only take you so far and are mostly definitions.

asides from books, i want to add up, by joining / reading on forums like this, you can basically learn through this...
soo many pro and experts here, learn from there share knowledge and ideas about some insurance stuff. :)

You should always learn about the claims settlement processes. It holds the most challenging aspects of all insurance processes.

There are many ways insurance agents learn. You can attend training or learn from your associates.
However, the biggest classroom is in the field. People learn more when being caught than being taught. It is when you face to face with your prospects you learn the most.
