Is it bad for an insurance agent to work from home?

Working from home could bring success, but you'd need to spend long hours. Closing a deal might take 2-3 meetings. If you already have a strong network of friends you'll grow faster, otherwise you'd need to work harder to achieve things. Also make sure you have a smooth online connection at your place.

I would suggest that most agents work from home, in some degree. Given the nature of the business, clients needing you at all hours of the day, it can only be assumed that an agent will be doing business from the house at some point.
