Hello all,
I've been meaning to join the forums here at ampminsure for a while now. I began as a life and health insurance agent in Florida back in 2007, and I relocated to Tennessee in 2008. I later acquired my property and casualty license a few months later (now have all lines covered), so there's a lot of information I've managed to collect over this time period.
The most important thing you should know about me is I'm the creator of a website for consumers and new agents (listed at the bottom 'www') that documents and archives the consumer and media reports about insurance companies. I have received a lot of feedback about the information on the site and hope it helps people find the information they want to find before they buy a policy.
I'm here to answer questions and try to help out consumers that want to know more about dealing with insurance companies and resolving claim issues. It's an ongoing project that I hope builds into a much better way of creating transparency within the insurance business and protects consumers. So, that's me in a nutshell. I'll be around helping out where I can.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I wouldn't say I have 'special' insurance knowledge, though. Maybe I'm nothing more than an insurance 'reporter' (?)... I dunno what I'd call me.
But at any rate, the welcome is appreciated. I'll poke my head around and see if I can help in any way around the forums. If you have suggestions of where I should direct my attention, feel free to recommend any threads.
