Do all estheticians need to maintain a professional & premises liability coverage? Will it cover for lawsuits?

There are certain things that you'd always like to protect e.g. your family, business, income, goodwill etc. Paying for liability insurance is always a fair deal!

Guys, I believe professional liability insurance is the same as 'malpractice insurance'. It covers you from certain claims in terms of injuries caused by you as a result of any professional misconduct.

Are you leasing your own shop or leasing space in someone else's salon?

You would probably want to look for a Business Owner's Policy ("BOP") which will provide the liability coverage you describe. It offers broader coverage than just "professional liability". Talk to a local agent.

Will "BOP" cover me from lawsuits? I'm asking since I just wanna gather some knowledge before I speak with my agent.
