EQUI-VEST® ExpressSM vs EQUI-VEST®

These two VAs seem to be the same. Can anyone tell me the basic difference between them?

I am a market researcher analysing the new post crisis VAs.

Did a quick look up of their contracts and don't see any equi vest express, just a series of equivest 100-400 with 100 being the only contract that is still active.

Equivest express has an initial minimum of $50 non-qualified and $5,000 inherited IRA with 7 years of surrender charges. Other annual charges include M&E risks at .85% and other expenses at .25%

Equivest requires an intial minimum of $25,000 with 6 years of surrender charges. The M&E expenses are 1% and other expenses are .25%. It also has a ratchet death benefit where the death benefit increases every 3 years for a .15% charge.

There's also other things, but those are some main differences.

No problem, but you should look into Cornerstone, it's a new product that's going to be our flagship.
