Hi All,
Hope you can all help. I was approached by a good friend of mine a few months ago to talk about securing my financial future. He is an agent with WFG (World Financial Group). He tried pushing a Global Equity Indexed Universal Life on me and I hesitated being the very skeptical person that I am. After spending some time with him and some people in the company I had my reservations however for some unknown reason I decided to join WFG and paid my $100. I have since been trying to get my licenses and am enrolled in classes since I am the type of person that needs to know everything. I explained this to my Marketing Director and he stated that I need to hurry up and do my 3-3-30 (3 recruits, 3 sales, 30 days). How am I suppose to ask my family and friends to trust me with their financial future when I dont understand anything about insurance, policies, products. He is very insistant that I push forward and I am digging in my heels because ethically I can not and will not push someone to buy something I know very little about. He tells me that I need to trust the "system" and start duplicating myself. Thats all they seem interested in. Making more and more people and not really "helping families" I thought this would be a good opportunity to help people. I have seen what happens when people are left behind without any protection and the effects are horrible but I dont think that is the mission here. All they seem interested in is this EIUL which has high high premiums, high surrender rates, etc, etc. I really wanted to help people, not "drink the cool-aid" if you know what i mean.
Please share any thoughts and/or experiences with WFG or their products.
Thanks!

Forget all the hype. People should not be force fed a product. If an organization is pushing a specific product ask why? You say you can't be fired but WFG can terminate your contract. I'm saying anything against WFG but never give up your mind to anyone.
For the OP if they still monitor this post I say get a backbone and just say no thank you if your not interested. If your not sold on the business your basically just wasting your time. The financial services industry isn't an easy industry to be in. That's why it can pay so well.

I work with WFG I am not earning that much yet but I found out and knew that there is nothing wrong with what they do. They give opportunities to people who are hardworking and yet not given a chance to have a job. WFG system is the ideal system, you reap what you sow. You earn by working hard and you earn more as you work harder. Everything is being distributed equitably, not like what is happening in most companies where there are bosses that tells the employee to do this and that and no matter how hard the employees work they won't get anything (well an appreciation plaque maybe). Employees work hard which makes the bosses and big bosses stupendously rich and no matter how hard they work they can never be in the position of their bosses. In WFG, it's the other way around. You can start as an associate and work your way up to becoming a CEO, it's not just a dream and no one will hinder you in stepping up. Those people who are whining and giving negative feedbacks to WFG are the ones who joined WFG and didn't earn anything simply because they didn't do anything. Those are the people who are so lazy and they expect that they can earn from WFG just by sitting and watching TV. It don't work that way. They are expecting that they will get something by not doing anything because they paid $100 for background and security check. They are expecting that their $100 will earn them $1M the day after they gave it.

Others criticize the training that WFG gives to their associates and they also criticize the marketing style of WFG people. WFG provides basic training to their associates, all the basic rules and needs in offering products to people. You wanna know why? because WFG is so confident that they do not need to provide intensive training to their people because they have no flaws to hide. Their people just need to know the basic and they don't have to teach them how to presentably hide and conceal the not so nice. They do not have to teach their associates of lies that they can say to their clients. Marketing is all about sales and its strategies, the rule in marketing is to sell no matter what, which is why other big insurance companies teach their marketing people and spend huge amount of time, effort and money. They want their marketing people to be prepared in hiding flaws and telling lies and excuses and they teach their marketing people to complicate things so that it would seem so professional and would hush the clients.

My answer to the post is this, If you're scared run away, this isn't for the timid. But owning your own firm is no easier and certainly the trainers are saying go out and get your family and friends into the system, why?
1. Because if you want to learn something, it's easiest to learn by doing. I guess you could spend $80,000 to $120,000 on a college education only to get out and make the same as me, but I have NO loans to repay, how does this make sense? Actually it sounds like some industry professionals are either jealous or they just don't understand why someone would prefer to learn and earn while doing so.
2. When it comes to talking to your loved ones, who would you want to help most in this world? You're going to go out and get rich with your own company but how does this help those people you care about most? WFG doesn't discriminate. Why should you?
3. Because learning by doing, getting your OWN licenses not being captive to a company is fundamental to a business owner who wants autonomy without a huge expense behind it. Would you rather work for yourself? Or make someone else wealthy working for a wage? It really is up to you.
But anytime someone trashes something I have to wonder why. Why would you not look a little closer? Perhaps you just don't understand a business that mentors and teaches to get you to your financial independence? I actually doubted enough to have my attorney look at the contract. They joined. So look a little harder.
I suggest reading the Cash Flow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki. If that doesn't explain it, don't try and join, you need a boss to manage your life for you.

That's one of the reasons most WFG representatives know nothing about the products they market . . . they just promote the products their uplines tell them to sell.Posted: Sat Dec 09, 2017 12:56 am Post Subject: weightloss weightlifting
