Can a family member dispute the named beneficiary of a life insurance policy if the named beneficiary is a heroin addict who manipulated the policy owner into putting the addict's name as beneficiary instead of a closer family member such as a daughter?

Well, can you really prove that the policy owner was indeed influenced in a wrong way?
See, life insurance proceeds should go to the named beneficiary unless you can prove that a fraud was indeed committed.

Without proof of coercion or other force, fear, or threat, it is virtually impossible to overturn a life insurance beneficiary designation. Even if the beneficiary is a drug addict.
