We have been divorced since 2004. My X husband has been paying my life insurance policy. I have stayed at home a lot raising our 3 children. The policy matures next April, he has sent me a letter via his solicitor saying he wants to cash it in along with his own seperate policy and he wants the money. Am I entitled to it or not? thanks.

The simple answer is who is the owner of the policy. If he owns the policy he can cash surrender the policy if he so desires. If you are the owner of the policy no he can not.

The simple answer is
What does your court order provide? Life insurance policies "mature" when the insured reaches age 100 or 121. Are you anywhere close to that age?
What do you mean when you say "the policy mature next April?"
