I’ve just joined a college here in Wisconsin for my grad studies and want to have a life insurance policy now. Just wondering what would be the amount that I need to pay each month for. I mean, I just require an average estimation..Thanks in advance!!

What are you studying? Apparently in all your undergraduate work, you never learned how to formulate a question in the manner necessary to receive an intelligent response.

There are no "averages" in life insurance. Your needs could be more or less than the "average" person your age.

Reformulate your question and properly articulate what it is that you want answered. If you ask questions such as "How much insurance do I need?" or "How much should I pay?" you will not have met the reformulation requirement and will not receive a meaningful reply.

There is no one average price for life insurance because there are many variables to consider.

First, the price you pay for life insurance depends on the type of life insurance policy and amount of life insurance coverage you buy.

Also, your own personal risk factors impact your rate for life insurance. These factors may include your age, health, family health history, occupation, hobbies, driving record, credit history, lifestyle, if you smoke or not, your height-to-weight ratio, etc.

All of these factors and more are considered to determine your life expectancy, how long they expect you to live, which in turn impacts how long you would be paying your premiums for life insurance.

You can determine your own average price for life insurance by visiting a life insurance website that offers multiple life insurance quotes and determine the average from the quotes you receive.

Thanks for your post, Hadley. I think the OP wanted the answer to a test question in his graduate studies.
