Do you have to name a secondary beneficiary on a policy before it is summited .
I was told you do just in case your beneficiary die with the policy holder.

You asked this question before joining the forum. The answer is still NO, you are not required to name a contingent beneficiary. But it is a good idea to do so. AFLAC does not sell life insurance, by they do offer accidental death benefits. These low value policies do not pay a large number of claims, which is why they are not very costly.
