To the insurance company whose name and address is on the cover of the contract.

You should need to write a life insurance cancellation letter then send it to the company from where you were willing to start your insurance plan.

You need to write to the company from where you have taken your insurance. There you have to write particularly to cancellation department to cancel your life insurance policy.

You need to contact to your insurance agent first, then you and your insurance agent are required to fill out documentation it to properly cancel any existing policies. This paperwork will be provided by your agent, and he or she can assist you in filling it out.

ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY!!

If a person wants to terminate their life insurance, all they need to do is send the policy back to the insurance company with a letter stating, "CANCEL COVERAGE UNDER THE ENCLOSED POLICY AND REFUND ANY AMOUNTS DUE TO ME."

You should make and keep a copy of the policy and your cancellation letter. Send via Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested in order to track the delivery of the policy to the insurance company. (You could also use Fedex or UPS to deliver the policy to the insurance company.)

Any refund due should be processed within 2-3 weeks.

To know how much of a refund you may be entitled to receive, you can call the insurance company first.
