Insurance Policy

My mother has been given life expectancy of 6 mos or less and I am the Beneficiary & Executor of my mothers estate & will. I'm attempting to get all her paperwork together for her last call home, my aunt has an Insurance Policy that I was just aware of a few months ago that my grandmother took out on her years ago. I've asked her for it but she tells me to just give her copies of bills and what ever and she will handle it. Why am I not entitled to this Policy to put with all my other policies and documents?

Apparently the "her" refers to your mother, not to the antecedent "aunt" in the sentence. Grammar mistakes aside, you don't know who the owner of the policy is. It could very well be your aunt, and if so, you cannot tell her what to do with the policy or the proceeds. If she is willing to pay bills you submit to her, what difference does it make?
Or did you want all the money for yourself?
