how can i find a life insurance policy with no info

I was wondering if anyone can help me I just found out my dad died in 2014 I haven't talked to him in years so I found his number on the internet and called my aunt answered the phone and was very surprised to hear from me she then told me my dad had died from a stroke in 2014 but she figured I knew cause of the life insurance and the company had quit calling her about my where abouts so she assumed they got a hold of me and that was all she said she will not give me anymore details she is upset at the fact her brother did not leave it to her she said she will not give me any information cause she does not want me to have it I have looked but really Iam clueless can someone please help me
