Hey,
I just have a few questions, I am hoping to get some help on. My father passed away 2 weeks ago. In the last 8 yrs. we haven't had any contact. I have 3 sibilings. My Older Brother has taken over my dad's estate and is basically keeping everyone informed about his affairs but me. What are my rights to my father's estate/Life Insurance? I am pretty sure I will be completely left out of all of it, can I fight the multiple life insurance policies left if I am not named as a beneficiary on any?

If you are not named as a beneficiary, there is little you can do to protest as a sibling, unless you have evidence of recent coercion that resulted in a change of beneficiary adverse to you. As far as he estate is concerned, if it goes to probate, you must be identified as an heir and will share in the divisible surplus. You might have to hire an attorney to file a petition on your behalf.
