Hi,
I am contracted as an independent agent through a broker/dealer. I have obtained individual E&O coverage effective as of the date of my contract with the new dealer. I assumed that I would be covered under the old policy while I was employed with my prior employer, and since I haven't solicited or written any business during the "GAP", I figured I don't need coverage.
But I've read all this info about "prior acts" coverage. Should I have obtained this type of coverage?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
