Can I use accelerated death benefits with my life policy?

Hi..I think there are some accelerated death benefits

that could be added to my life insurance under specific circumstances. Any

explanation of such conditions would help!

Depends on what the doctor says. This is usually not something that makes you considered terminal (though it's rupture has an extremely high probability in your death). Usually being terminal is the trigger that needs to be pulled to activate the ADB.

It's best though to contact the insurance company. They can assist you on this.

I bought my policy in February of 2013. Since then I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Can I apply for the rider even though my life insurance policy is not yet two years old?

If you are not expected to live more than 12 months, the answer is probably yes. But you have to read your contract to know for sure. You can always call your agent and ask, or call the insurance company and ask. It is against the law for either of them to mislead you.
